     Battery Connections

 1)      If you have a black wire and a white wire, then the black wire is positive/hot and the white wire is negative.

 2)   If you have a red wire and a white wire, then the red is positive/hot and the white is negative.

Battery Is Dying When Not Using Trailer

The LP Detector will kill a healthy battery in 4 days. If it draws 1 amp an hour and if you have an 80 amp battery, it will kill a battery in 80 hours. Be sure when not using the trailer to disconnect only the positive leads on the battery and this will save the life of your battery. It is not a good idea to disconnect both sides of the battery for then you may not remember which wire goes to each side of the battery.

Beeping Noise Coming from Trailer

When the battery begins to die, the LP detector will sound off a beeping sound in order to alert you that the battery is being drained and is almost dead.
